Story for Jenni's Book Two White Horses

Hey there Ms Jenni!
I've been wanting to put this story together for a long time.
The story is called Two White Horses and deals with the "death" of a mother from a child's perspective.

I want the style to be rather loose & atmospheric. I finished Page 1 last night to give you an idea. Basically

the story begins at night with the mothers death. The doctors confirmation, family, the service, all scene from the child's perspective. On the night after the burial the mom comes home. If you don't know the story, it's a surprise ending, so I wont give it away, but It has stuck with me since college. It's a very strong story. So let me know if you think it will work.
