Book recommendation

I met Andy Schmidt at Comicon and he had nice things to say about my work. I wanted to share with you his book; The Insiders Guide to Creating Comics and Graphic Novels.

It is loaded with interviews with the big guys, tips techniques, advice, and it is well worth the cover price which is lower now. Check it out!

Reading a book by an editor & publisher of Comics & GNs is the best way to find out what they look for in submissions and will help alleviate a lot of wasted time with hits and misses in this business. Andy is also a fellow I would like to interview for our future Gallery page. Think ahead and get your best ready for it. Still looking for more to join so please help spread the word!

Getting to know me

Whoo, so please correct me if I'm posting this entry in the wrong spot. Alright, so here's a bit about this particular member:
My name's Renee, but I've been known to go by Rodene. As of right now, I'm working on finishing school and getting myself established in the comic and/or animation industry. I'm in the early stages of beginning of a webcomic, which will be made viewable once I've got everything settled. I'm stoked to be apart of what I know will be an awesome group. Can't wait to see some great artwork!
